August Connect Event

Thank you Leaf Bean Machine!

Last Thursday night August 28th, Fleur Cassidy, owner of  the deliciously aromatic, Bibra Lake coffee roasting warehouse, Leaf Bean Machine, hosted about 15 attendees for the August 100 Women Connect event. It was a very intimate and civilized affair with tea, cakes, coffee and  copious amounts of conversation.

Amethyst Duggan of the 100 Women Advisory Committee took care of the evening’s formalities by welcoming attendees and giving a brief overview of the grants process. This was followed by a Q&A session and round table discussion with the other Advisory Committee representatives in the room; including Megan Anderson, Sophie Frodsham and Trinity Brown.

Those who attended would agree it was an incredibly pleasant way to spend a Thursday evening, chatting and learning from each other about women’s rights in the workplace, equal pay for equal work, domestic violence, not for profit projects, workplace giving and so much more.

Thank you to all who attended on the night and special thanks once again to Fleur for your generosity and support.

If your business can support the 100 Women Events Committee in any way by providing a venue, catering or sponsorship we’d love to hear your ideas! Please email info@100women.com.au to send us your proposal.
